Bilateral Cooperation

ETHIOPIA:

Bilateral cooperation between Uganda and Ethiopia is governed by:
\r\na) The Friendship and Cooperation Agreement signed in Kampala on 4 November 1993 by the two Heads of State and Government;

\r\n

b) The Agreement Establishing the Joint Ministerial Commission for Cooperation signed in Kampala on 22nd July 2011 by the two Ministers of Foreign Affairs;

\r\n

c) The Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership signed in Kampala on 22 July 2011 by the two Ministers of Foreign Affairs which provides a general framework and guidelines for cooperation in the various fields (defence and security, agriculture, health, infrastructure, water and energy, trade, investment, culture, education, immigration, etc.)

DJIBOUTI:

\r\n

Bilateral cooperation between Uganda and Djibouti is governed by:

\r\n

a) The Agreement on Trade and Cooperation singed in Kampala in 1988;

\r\n

b) The General Agreement of Cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce, signed in Djibouti on 9th January 1990;

\r\n

c) The Agreement on Standard Ground Handling Services signed in Djibouti on 9th January 1990;

\r\n

d) The Agreement on Operation of Air Services signed in Djibouti on 9th January 1990.

\r\n
